Physical Education in a school setting should educate and inform individuals on what is necessary to maintain a healthy and fit life style. It should go into depth on the correct techniques and movement skills that should be taken into consideration when dealing with physical activity. Physical Education should open an individual’s mind to the many different ways and types one can promote a healthy physical life style. It should also promote knowledge in the area of nutrition, a topic that is usually underestimated when talking about physical health. If children can be motivated to take part in a healthy and physical life style early, it is very likely they will want to continue this pursuit of that life style, even when P.E class is over.
